23 жовтня в рамках реалізації проекту «Медійна грамотність для людей поважного віку» на базі Миколаївської обласної універсальної наукової бібліотеки відбулася фокус-групова дискусія за участю 10 представників поважного віку.

Проект ініційований ГО «Центр Поділля-Соціум» за підтримки проекту Агентства США з міжнародного розвитку (USAID) «Медійна програма в Україні», що реалізується міжнародною організацією Internews.

Під час дискусії фахівці Миколаївської ОУНБ спільно з аудиторією розглянули поняття «медіаграмотності», з’ясували думку присутніх стосовно інформації, яка (фейкова або правдива) переважає в медійному просторі.

Також присутні обговорили ряд питань щодо необхідності та доцільності проведення курсу навчання для підвищення рівня медійної грамотності для людей поважного віку.

Media Literacy for Senior sitizens. Focus gruop

On October 23, within the framework of the project "Media Literacy for Senior sitizens", a focus group discussion was held at the Mykolaiv Regional Universal Scientific Library with the participation of 10 Senior sitizens representatives. The project was initiated by public organization “Center Podillya-Socium” with the support of the United States Agency of International Development (USAID) project "Media Program in Ukraine", implemented by the international organization Internews.

During the discussion, the experts of the Mykolaiv Regional Universal Scientific Library together with the audience considered the concept of "media literacy" and clarified the opinion of the audience regarding the information that (fake or true) prevails in the media space.

The participants also discussed a number of questions about the necessity and expediency of conducting a training course to increase the level of media literacy for the Senior sitizens.
